Broadberry Pivotstor TL8000 8U Tape Library is perfect for your business or organisations that need reliable data protection retention in an easy to use backup/archive solution. Broadberry Pivotstor TL8000 8u tape Library incorporated a LTO Ultrium Drive format which is flexible and has an easy to use interface support to fit the customer requirements. AP Series also comes with the option to increase their backup capabilities and data throughput onsite with up to four (4) LTO-3HH/LTO-4HH tape drives or up to four (4) LTO-3/LTO-4 full-height drive in a compact 8U design.

The Pivotstor 8u TL8000 tape library total compressed data storage capacity ranges from 76.8 TB (LTO-3HH or LTO-3FH) to 153.6 TB (LTO-4HH or LTO-4FH). Compressed data transfer rates range from 432 gigabytes per hour per LTO-3HH drive, 576 gigabytes per hour per LTO-3FH or LTO-4HH drive, and 864 gigabytes per hour per LTO-4FH drive.

The Pivotstor 8u TL8000 come in several models options. Depending on which LTO Ultrium Drive you have chosen. The LTO Ultrium drive come in either a single or dual LTO-3HH drive (customer upgradeable to four LTO-3HH drives) with a SCSI or SAS interface, a single or dual LTO-4HH drive (customer upgradeable to four LTO-4HH drives) with a SAS interface, a single or dual LTO-3FH with either a FC or SCSI interface (customer upgradeable to four LTO-3FH drives), or LTO-4FH drive with a FC or SCSI interface (customer upgradeable to four LTO-4FH drives). All models include eight (8) 12-slot tape cartridge magazines (left-side with mailslot).Available accessories include customer-installable LTO Ultrium drives (LTO-3HH, LTO-3, LTO-4HH and LTO-4) and additional 12-slot tape cartridge magazines.

The Pivotstor TL8000 8U Tape Library family also includes industry-leading standard features such as a remote management user interface, a rack-mount kit, an Ethernet cable, and a bar code reader. The TL8000 features a standard 1-year advance replacement warranty. Optional 1-year or 3-year warranty upgrades/extensions, and onsite installation are available.

8U Expansion Modules Coming Soon

8U Expansion Modules (AP-TL8000EX) will be available in second-half of CY2008. This addition to the AP Series TL8000 will essentially double existing slot-count to installed 8U (96-slots) to 192-slots, doubling compressed (2:1) data protection with LTO-4 tape cartridges to 307TB. AP-TL8000EX expansion modules will support LTO Ultrium cartridges and additional LTO tape drive requirements to allow AP Series users an affordable upgrade path to their continuously growing data protection requirements.
