GT24-U4H - 1U Dual Opteron Rack Mount Server
The GT24-U4H AMD Opteron Server is a dual processor 1U rack mount server and provides a cost effective solution for primary servers, web servers, database applications and server clustering and are ideal for those requiring a combination of high performance and density in their rack mount servers. It can support dual AMD Opteron 64-bit single and dual core processors. Up to 16GB RAM can be housed in the 8 memory slots, dual Gigabit network ports and on-board graphics come as standard. The GT24-U4H can have up to four Hot Swap U320 SCSI SCA hard disk drives and has an on-board host RAID controller supporting RAID 0, 1 & 0+1.

Custom Opteron Servers
Our Technical Sales and Engineering department would be happy to assist in any additional requirements you may have for your specific Intel server requirements, for example if you need additional network ports, serial or parallel ports, or multiple graphics outputs, we can usually assist. We offer a wide selection of cost effective, high performance Opteron rackmount servers. If you do not see an Opteron rackmount server that meets your requirements we can customise an Opteron rackmount server to meet almost any specification. Our experienced sales & technical staff can help you to determine the appropriate Opteron rackmount server configuration for your exact requirements, for example, if you require a customised front bezel with your corporate identity, or have special installation or software installation procedures.
IPMI Remote Management
IPMI operates independently of the operating system and allows administrators to manage a system remotely even in the absence of the operating system or the system management software, or even if the monitored system is not powered on. IPMI can also function when the operating system has started, and offers enhanced features when used with the system management software.

IPMI can send out alerts via a direct serial connection, a local area network (LAN) or a serial over LAN (SOL) connection to a remote client. System administrators can then use IPMI messaging to query platform status, to review hardware logs, or to issue other requests from a remote console through the same connections. The standard also defines an alerting mechanism for the system to send a simple network management protocol (SNMP) platform event trap (PET).

Delivery, Configuration & Testing
Delivery, configuration and testing of your Intel rackmount server will normally be between 5 to 7 working days from receipt of order, please contact your sales representative if you have any special delivery, configuration or testing requests for your Intel rackmount server.
