iX3-U8HR - 3U Dual Xeon Rack Mount Server

The iX3-U8HR Intel Xeon Server is a dual processor 3U rack mount server and provides a cost effective solution for primary servers, database applications and storage servers and are ideal for those requiring a combination of high capacity storage, high performance and value for money in their rack mount servers. It can support dual Intel Xeon 5000/5100 series EM64T dual core processors. Up to 32GB RAM can be housed in the 8 memory slots, dual Gigabit network ports and on-board graphics come as standard. The iX3-U8HR can have up to eight hot-swap U320 SCSI SCA hard disk drives and has an Ultra 320 SCSI RAID controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 .

IPMI Remote Management

IPMI operates independently of the operating system and allows administrators to manage a system remotely even in the absence of the operating system or the system management software, or even if the monitored system is not powered on. IPMI can also function when the operating system has started, and offers enhanced features when used with the system management software.

IPMI can send out alerts via a direct serial connection, a local area network (LAN) or a serial over LAN (SOL) connection to a remote client. System administrators can then use IPMI messaging to query platform status, to review hardware logs, or to issue other requests from a remote console through the same connections. The standard also defines an alerting mechanism for the system to send a simple network management protocol (SNMP) platform event trap (PET).

Delivery, Configuration & Testing

Delivery, configuration and testing of your Intel rackmount server will normally be between 5 to 7 working days from receipt of order, please contact your sales representative if you have any special delivery, configuration or testing requests for your Intel rackmount server.
