Server Description
The Cyberserve XT08T-645 Intel Dual Xeon Tower Server is a dual processor tower server and provides a cost effective solution for web servers and general office servers and are ideal for those requiring a combination of performance and value for money in their towers servers. It can support Dual Intel 64-bit Xeon Quad-Core or Dual-Core processors with 667/1066/1333 MHz FSB processors. Up to 16GB DDR2 667 & 533 SDRAM Memory can be housed in the 6 x 240-pin dimm memory slots, dual Gigabit network ports and on-board graphics come as standard.

IPMI Remote Management
IPMI operates independently of the operating system and allows administrators to manage a system remotely even in the absence of the operating system or the system management software, or even if the monitored system is not powered on. IPMI can also function when the operating system has started, and offers enhanced features when used with the system management software.

IPMI can send out alerts via a direct serial connection, a local area network (LAN) or a serial over LAN (SOL) connection to a remote client. System administrators can then use IPMI messaging to query platform status, to review hardware logs, or to issue other requests from a remote console through the same connections. The standard also defines an alerting mechanism for the system to send a simple network management protocol (SNMP) platform event trap (PET).

Drivers are available for Microsoft Windows XP, Vista & all Microsoft Windows Server Editions,Drivers are also available for most versions of Linux. Please check with your sales representative for any specific requirements. Most of our intel rackmount server are also certified by vmware and citrix for virtualisation.
