ACME Portable Machines' ew EMP 390 Portables are one of a new breed of rugged commercial/industrial PCs designed using a unique Aluminum Steel box built-in shock mount to be tough enough for many military and security applications. EMP 390 desktop is one of the smallest in the industry, but features a large 20 inch TFT at 1600 x 1200 resolution LCDs found on any other portable computer.

The EMP 390 is perfect for users requiring easier mobility, exceptional expansion capabilities, and durability in applications where the environment is controlled or partially controlled and where durability is required. With its all-aluminum enclosre of 13.5kgs (29.7 lbs), the EMP 390 is developed to remain tough, without losing its ergonomic design. It is also offered with multimedia and optional monitoring/contro features, making this lightweight portable system the ideal choice for high performance in most indoor and outdoor applications.

The EMP 390 is a tough, high performance portable computer designed for use in extremely harsh environments. Built to survive both military and industrial applications conventional reugged portables can't survive--this ultra tough portable was developed to take the everday punishment rugged portable computers are subject to, in stride. The EMP 390 is maintenance, flight line systems analysis, geopysical explorations, shipboard exposure, factory floor environments, and military deployment.
