The CyberStore 436S iSCSI DSS (Data Storage Server) OPEN-E storage appliances are 4U rackmount storage servers with Thirty Six hot swap SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) or SATA II (Serial ATA) nearline ready enterprise class hard drives. As the ultimate reliable iSCSI SAN & NAS storage appliance, the CyberStore 436S ISCSI DSS (Data Storage Server) stresses speed, ease of management and dependable storage for all of your data storage requirements.

Configured with up to 36 ultra fast SAS or SATA II 6Gb/s drives, the CyberStore 436S ISCSI SAN & NAS can provide a RAID level 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 storage environment. Yielding the best storage capacity and performance in it’s class, the 4U CyberStore 436S iSCSI DSS storage appliance offers flexibility, fault tolerance, speed and data security.

Dividing data into 2TB increments is inefficient and has become a storage management nightmare. The storage volume array limitations in Windows are eliminated with the CyberStore 436S and as an added benefit this also eliminates the need to create dynamic disks and spanned volumes therefore attaining larger storage capacities making storage management a breeze whilst keeping optimal redundancy at all times.

The chassis is rugged and reliable and designed to exceed the power, cooling and rotational vibration requirements of today’s high speed hard disk drives. The CyberStore 436S iSCSI DSS range of storage servers are also designed to install without interrupting your network configuration, and can be up and running within minutes.

  Broadberry CyberStore Storage Servers can be managed remotely on a standard web browser and  integrated Lights-Out technology with optional IPMI 2 management can monitor and control all features.
• Universal connectivity
  Integrated protocols support access from Windows, NetWare, Linux, UNIX and Apple clients, plus HTTP and FTP – no software licences required.
• Shadow copy snapshots
  By creating scheduled snapshots of shared data, accidentally deleted or overwritten files can be automatically restored – no need to restore from tape.
• Data replication
  Replicate data between ISCSI SAN & NAS devices over a standard Ethernet network using built in Mirroring software. Data is synchronised based only on the changes made, minimising network traffic.
  Data Replication can be over a LAN (Local Area Network) or WAN (Wide Area Network). Synchronous or Asynchronous.
• Backup and recovery
