GT20X-V4H - 1U Opteron Rackmount Server

The GT20X-V4H AMD Opteron Server is a single processor 1U rack mount server and provides a cost effective solution for web servers, primary servers and database applications and are ideal for those requiring a combination of performance and value for money in their rack mount servers. It can support a single AMD Opteron 64-bit (Rev.F) 2000 series dual core processor. Up to 16GB RAM can be housed in the 8 memory slots, dual Gigabit network ports and on-board graphics come as standard. The GT20X-V4H can have up to four hot-swap Serial ATA (SATA) or up to four SAS hard disk drives with additional SAS controller and has an on-board SATA-II controller.

IPMI Remote Management

IPMI operates independently of the operating system and allows administrators to manage a system remotely even in the absence of the operating system or the system management software, or even if the monitored system is not powered on. IPMI can also function when the operating system has started, and offers enhanced features when used with the system management software.

Remote Boot device

IPMI can send out alerts via a direct serial connection, a local area network (LAN) or a serial over LAN (SOL) connection to a remote client. System administrators can then use IPMI messaging to query platform status, to review hardware logs, or to issue other requests from a remote console through the same connections. The standard also defines an alerting mechanism for the system to send a simple network management protocol (SNMP) platform event trap (PET).

Delivery, Configuration & Testing

Delivery, configuration and testing of your Intel rackmount server will normally be between 5 to 7 working days from receipt of order, please contact your sales representative if you have any special delivery, configuration or testing requests for your Intel rackmount server.
