The CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor is a Pedestal rackmount server configurable with 1 Opteron 4200 series range of processors. Built using the latest server technolgy, the CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor has 4x 3.5, 2.5" SAS and SATA Hot-Swap Drives and is ideal for those requiring a combination of high performance and density in their rack mount servers with its 4 DDR3 ECC Unregistered memory banks. Based on technology, the CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor boasts VMware Compatible, Best Value, Ultra Low Power, Full Height/Length Expansion and Short Depth as just a few of its core features.

The AMD Opteron 4000 Series platform, offering Single or Dual Processor Servers with 4 or 6 cores per processor. Our range of rackmount servers built on the AMD Opteron 4200 Series are the lowest power-per-core servers available, built to deliver unparalleled efficiency for complex technical workloads and offering up to 8 processing cores per processor.

The added benefit of hot-swap hard drives means that the CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor can have any of its 4 hot-swap hard drives removed during maintenance whilst the system is running completely un-interrupted.

VMWare compatability ensures your rackmount server will function correctly as a virtual server running VMWare. The CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor has been awarded the Broadberry 'Best Value' award. This is based on the system boasting very good all-round performance for its price. High Efficiency Servers. With data-center running costs constantly rising, it is becoming increasingly more important for rackmount servers to be low-powered and efficient. Broadberry use the latest power-efficient technology with all the components in the CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor, meaning it has been awarded the Broadberry 'Ultra Low Power' rating. This machine caters for full-height / full length PCI cards. Short Depth Servers can be less than half the length of standard servers, this allows them to be utilised in situations where space is at a premium, typically situations such as comms racks.

Boasting 4 SAS and SATA hard drives, the CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor supports the latest Serial attached SCSI (SAS) and SATA storage technology. Superseding SCSI technology, SAS is a faster storage technology than SATA with its running speed of 6Gbit/s. Another major advantage of SAS is the fact that unlike SATA, SAS is bi-directional, allowing reading and writing simultaneously. SATA offers several advantages over the older parallel ATA (PATA) interface: reduced cable-bulk and cost, faster and more efficient data transfer, and depending on the system configuration, hot swapping.The CyberServe AM41-P04S Single Processor supports 4x 3.5, 2.5" SATA hard drives, which represents the best cost per GB ratio storage technology. Available up to 2TB, in both standard class and enterprise, SATA hard drives are the most popular storage technology we utilise in our rackmount server solutions.
