The CyberServe X55-204F is a 2U rackmount server configurable with 2 Xeon 5600 series range of processors. Built using the latest server technolgy, the CyberServe X55-204F has 4x 2.5" SATA Fixed Drives and is ideal for those requiring a combination of high performance and density in their rack mount servers with its 6 DDR3 ECC Registered memory banks. Based on technology, the CyberServe X55-204F boasts VMware Compatible, Short Depth and Front I/O Ports as just a few of its core features.

The CyberServe X55-204F rackmount server with 4 fixed hard drives offers a cheaper alternative to servers with hot-swappable drives, bringing the total system cost down when hot-swappable hard drives are not required.

VMWare compatability ensures your rackmount server will function correctly as a virtual server running VMWare. Short Depth Servers can be less than half the length of standard servers, this allows them to be utilised in situations where space is at a premium, typically situations such as comms racks. The CyberServe X55-204F boasts Front I/O ports allowing easy access to the servers USB, parallel and other I/O ports once installed in a rack. This is usually a very desirable feature if the server is going to be housed in a data-center or rack mount cabinet, where the back of the server will not be easily accessible. The most common benefit of front I/O ports is that USB keyboards and mice can be easily connected for maintenance of the server.

SATA offers several advantages over the older parallel ATA (PATA) interface: reduced cable-bulk and cost, faster and more efficient data transfer, and depending on the system configuration, hot swapping.The CyberServe X55-204F supports 4x 2.5" SATA hard drives, which represents the best cost per GB ratio storage technology.
