Security is an important aspect in the design of AMD EPYC processors. The processors feature an embedded security processor, which means you benefit from full memory encryption without having to make any changes to your application.

AMD EPYC processors support three key categories of security features.

The first is AMD Secure Root-of-Trust technology. With this technology you ensure protection from rootkits/bootkits which can insert malicious code prior to an OS loading.
